Current Issues On Online Learning- Abdul Muhaimin

Hello! I am going to tell all of you about my opinion on online learning. Online learning is just like learning in class, the only difference is that we are learning virtually. Before this, online learning is not so popular, it only started to be popular when the pandemic of covid-19 arrived. Online learning is a platform that students can study like face to face with their teachers during the quarantine time. But somehow, online learning has some issues.

Firstly, online learning issue is a student must have a good connection of internet, many of the students didn’t have a good connection of internet because some of them are only using the data package. Thus, their data will be limited and sometimes are not enough to fulfill all the needs of this online method of learning, On another hand, they sometimes they have a lot of data but unfortunately the connection is poor. This will affect their learning process a lot.

Secondly, online learning is harder when we have a group assignment, because it is hard to discuss with the group members virtually, and this can cause misunderstanding among the group members and make the assignment hard to be finished and submitted. Furthermore, while learning online some of the students is not so focus because they can do a lot of other stuffs since the teacher doesn’t know what is the student doing while the teacher is teaching. This may happens when the student is bored especially if the student do not have an interests and motivations towards the subject.

Besides, the difference between online learning and study in class is; online learning is quite complicated than the face to face method in class because online learning doesn’t have the same environment as when studying in the classroom. Furthermore, online learning is so hard to adapt because it is a new thing but we must study hard to get ace our examinations.

Lastly, I hope the pandemic will end soon and we will back to normal.
