Current Issues On Online Learning- Izzey Azwin

Hello ! Welcome back again to izzey’s blog :D Not to forget, happy movement controlled order 2.0 ! I wish each and everyone of us will always be in the pink of health. Talking about movement controlled order, let me tell all of you something that I personally think really had been affected by this situation, which is my study ☹

As everyone know, since this pandemic started last year, all study institutions had been closed in order to prevent the risk of this virus spreading. Thus, most of the students from primary school until university students have to use a different method of learning, which is through online digital learning, including me. So, I am going to state my opinion on this issue based on my own experiences and observations.

Firstly, what platform do most students use ? My lecturers usually use google meet for live class and google classroom for handing in our home works. Some other lecturers would prefer zoom instead of google meet and Edmodo instead of google classroom. However, their functions are almost similar.

Next, studying through online method have its own pros and cons. But the biggest challenge is when there’s network problem because if this happen, there will be nothing we can do about it.

One fun thing about studying online is, we can attend our class wherever we want, such as in the bedroom, (make sure it’s not on the bed :p) at the backyard or even if we have unavoidable matter to be settled outside. However, we should be responsible to attend our classes somewhere we can pay 100% of our attention.

Frankly speaking, I would prefer face-to-face class instead of online learning because I could see two different me when studying using this two methods. Being at home made me always do something else instead of revising my lessons because I always have so much more things to do such as watching tv, going out, and spending most of my time eating ;/ On the other hand, I used to spend all of my spare time studying when I was in hostel. I really hope all of us can stay in the hostel so soon because I really have a big target on my study :D

Lastly, no matter what method I am using, I would always try to do my best and I will pass the examinations with flying colours !
