The journey of the year 2020 has been difficult for most of us. As for me personally, being a university student during this pandemic present its own challenges. As a student currently taking a diploma in Entrepreneurship, it is quite troublesome trying to comprehend the lesson being taught online compared to when attending a class and having a teacher teaching me face to face. Rather than just giving up, I’ve managed to overcome this challenge and acquire great skills such as how to talk in front of an audience and the basics of company management. Furthermore, I also had the opportunity to take a subject which I consider to be crucial for someone in order for him to be successful and that is Islamic Studies. The hardest subject for me thus far is management since it is quite complicated. I read and reread the slides as well as review the notes given by the lecturer in order to fully understand the subject. I enjoy my Islamic Studies class and find it the easiest among all the other subjects since I’ve already taken the subject previously. Although online learning is a new experience for students like me, it has its own pros and cons. Online learning enables everyone to continue learning even during pandemics such as what’s happening today. On the other hand, it can be hard to focus since other places may not be as conducive for a person to learn when compared to a proper classroom.
